Our Doctors Are Mainly Offering TeleHealth Consultations.
Please advise us at least 2 hours prior to your appointment if your wish to cancel or cannot attend your consultation.
If 2 hours notice is NOT given, a fee of $40 will be charged – this applies to all appointments.
Please note that due to the current lockdown in Canberra, all consultations at Greenway Medical Centre will be TeleHealth.
From there, your doctor will decide whether a face-to-face appointment is required.
Those with a valid Medicare Card are eligible for fully bulk billed telephone appointments for a standard consultation.
If it is for Workers Compensation or outside of a standard consultation there could be a charge.
Please speak to our friendly reception staff before your appointment should you wish to confirm any out of pocket expenses.
If you DO NOT have a current Medicare card, this telephone triage service will cost $50.
We are unable to prescribe any controlled or opioid medications for new patients.
Everyone is encouraged to make ALL bookings online through HotDocs and Health Engine.
This includes those for telephone consultations and video appointments.

If you have not been advised already to make a video consultation please call reception first to confirm if a telephone consultation would be more appropriate.
The doctor will finish the TeleHealth consultation. Should any other details be required you will be transferred to our reception staff.
After your doctor’s appointment…
Our reception staff will have referrals, certificates, scripts, radiology and pathology ready by the end of the day.
Any information you need will be emailed after the telephone consultation or video appointment to your email address we have on record.
If you need your email address updated please notify reception before the appointment day preferably by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Radiology, imaging referrals /requests will be emailed to you or sent directly to the imaging provider.
If sent directly to the imaging provider you will still need to call the scan centre to book an appointment.
Medical certificates will be emailed to you.
Pathology referrals can be collected from reception or our reception staff can email for you to print.
